  1. Mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and cinnamon (if using).
  2. Stir in the milk, oil and egg. Add more milk tablespoon by tablespoon if the mixture is too dry. Take caution though, the end product should resemble a thick, sticky paste.
  3. Add Nutella and/or vanilla ectract if using.
  4. Fill muffin cups halfway.
  5. For a lava filling, fill a small piping bag with Nutella or chocolate cream and pipe it into the middle of the muffins.
  6. Pop the muffins into a microwave for 2 minutes or until well risen and spongy to the touch. Not too long, or it will dry up and harden.

I ordered the pumpkin dark chocolate minute muffin and like all other Kodiak Cakes products I've tried, I loved it! However, I didn't give it a five star rating because even though I enjoyed it very much, nothing about it reminded me of pumpkin. Furthermore, it isn't even labeled as being pumpkin SPICE. Handy for on the go but not that sweet, more of a salty taste, maybe add some vanilla extract or.
