Make ready 1 kg chicken
Make ready 7-8 cashew nuts
Make ready 5-6 pods garlic and same amount of ginger
Take to taste Salt
Take 1 tsp turmeric powder
Prepare 1 tsp cumin powder
Prepare Whole garam masala (cinnamon, 5 cloves, 6 b. pepper & cumin 1tsp
Prepare 1 cup coriander
Make ready 1 cup mint leaves
Prepare 4-5 green chilies
Get 2 tbsp yogurt
Steps to make Green Korma | Green chicken:
Marinate the chicken with cumin powder, turmeric and salt and keep aside for 1/2 hour - In a fry pan take 2 tbsp oil and add the whole garam masala roast it for few secs then add ginger and garlic and roast it for 20 secs. Now add the cashew and onion and fry till onion becomes pink. Keep it aside to become cold. Now take a grinder and add this roasted masala, coriander, mint, green chilli and yogurt and make a smooth paste.
Now take a big wok add 3 tbsp oil. Add bay leaves and 1/2 tsp cumin seeds and roast few secs not add the chicken mix well and cover and let it cook on med flame for 10 mins. After 10 mins add the ground masala and mix well let it cook on slow flame for 20 mins. After 20 mins add 1/4 cup water and let it cook for 5 mins on med flame. Now it is ready to serve. Serve it with paratha or roti.
