Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. The chicken marinade is a shop brought paste. Can be brought from any portuguese shop.
Add the wings to a bowl and add in the marinade. Coat the chicken wings well. Allow to marinade in fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, overnight to 48 hours preferably for better flavours.
Once it's time to cook mix the butter sauce ingredients together and allow to infuse. I would normally put the mixture into a small saucepan and place it nearer to the outer side of the bbq on top of the grill, and allow the butter to melt gently.

Drain from the marinade and cook on each side for 5-8 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Once the chicken is almost cooked brush with melted butter on each side while cooking the wings over the coals.
