Instructions to make Garlic ‘Naan Style’ Flatbreads:
  1. Firstly, add the butter to a small pan on a low heat & drop in the garlic. Gently heat through for a minute or two so the butter just melts. Leave it to one side while you prepare your dough.
  2. Add the yogurt, seeds, salt & oil to a bowl and mix together thoroughly.
  3. Now add the flour and bicarbonate of soda.
  4. Mix into a dough with a spoon first, then your hands to form a large ball of dough.
  5. No need to knead, just cut into 4 or 8 pieces and roll into rough disc shapes about 3-4mm thick. *It will be slightly sticky but just add a little flour to the board, and to each ball of dough when you roll them out.
  6. Pop into a dry pan on a medium heat and cook for about 2-3 minutes each side til you get those nice charred bits and the bread has puffed up lightly.
  7. While hot brush your melted garlic butter generously & serve. - Can be kept wrapped tin foil for half an hour or so to keep warm. - - ❄️ Freezable once cooked; - Wrap in foil and put in a freezable container. - Defrost & reheat gently in a pan for a couple of minutes.
