Instructions to make Jam Tarts:
  1. Preheat oven to 200°C or gas mark 6
  2. Rub together the flour and butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
  3. Add the water to the bowl and make the mixture into a ball of pastry
  4. Lightly flour the ball of pastry, rolling pin and work surface and roll the dough out to about 4mm thick
  5. Using your cutter cut out 12 circle shapes.
  6. Lightly grease your tart tray to avoid the pastry sticking
  7. Place the circle shaped dough into your tart tray and add a small amount of strawberry jam to each half filling the case
  8. Bake in the oven for approximatley 15-18 minutes. leave to cool and then enjoy.
