Step-by-Step Guide to Prepare Award-winning Shakshuka

Hello everybody, it is Louise, welcome to our recipe site. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, shakshuka. It is one of my favorites food recipes. This time, I am going to make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Shakshuka is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They’re fine and they look wonderful. Shakshuka is something which I’ve loved my whole life.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have shakshuka using 10 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Shakshuka:
  1. Prepare 250 grams fresh tomatoes
  2. Prepare 100 grams Onions
  3. Prepare 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  4. Take 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  5. Prepare 2 large eggs
  6. Get As required Fresh coriander leaves
  7. Get Few Green chillies
  8. Take 1 tbsp white oil
  9. Take As per taste Salt and sugar
  10. Prepare 1 tsp each paparika powder and cinnamon powder
Steps to make Shakshuka:
  1. Finely chop separately tomatoes,onions,coriander leaves,green chillies.
  2. In a deep based frying pan heat oil.Add chopped onions.Shallow fry.Add ginger garlic paste and thereafter chpped tomatoes. Stir for about 4-5 minutes till tomatoes become tender.
  3. When halfcooked add tomato sauce,paparika powder and cinnamon powder.Add salt and sugar.Add half cup water and bring ingredients to boil.Stir occassionally.
  4. As gravy thickens make two shallow space side by side turning the flame at a simming node.
  5. Break consecutively two eggs and put them in the two shallow spaces.Cover the pan with a lid.
  6. Allow the eggs to get poached and the gravy to get tighten.Turn off the flame and allow to stand for sometime. Thereafter serve.
